Just returned home from a week in Kansas City, MO performing at the Folk Alliance International Conference. What an incredible week. Met more fabulous artists, folk fest AD's, and all around good people. It's an experience I wish more people could enjoy. So much great music, thanks for having us!
Side note: I actually thought I was going to get some rest (minus a baby), turns out it was too quiet. I'll be sure to tape a little 3 AM screaming action before heading out next month. It'll be perfect.
SXSW & JunoCup
Speaking of next month...whoa things are getting real! We're starting by heading back to the I-29 and heading even further than Kansas City to the weird and wonderful city of Austin Texas, home of the South By SouthWest festival. All things music, film and creativity come to a head for a couple of weeks and we've been fortunate to have received an invite to showcase the full band! We're thrilled to have been selected by Chugg Entertainment to join their SX evening with incredibly talented acts on the bill. If you're at SX or know someone who is, send them our way.
OFFICIAL SXSW SHOWCASE
Thursday March 13, 8 PM (doors 7 PM)
TenOak - 409 Colorado St
If you can't get down to Texas, and would like to see some other 'mad skillz', join us for the JunoCup during the JunoFest week of activities in our hometown of Winnipeg MB. Musicians vs. Ex NHL'ers. It's unlikely sheer talent will not win the game for us, but some well timed smack talk just might.
