HAPPY NEW YEAR
Hello, friends and fans! What a wonderful 2011. Professionally, I travelled to new places including Greenland and Canada's Arctic, back to LA, back to NYC, back to Toronto and so much in between. I managed to finish the upcoming record, MANNEQUIN, and will be releasing it in the next month or so. I had a few more song placements on tv shows, authored a song for a provincial campaign and chatted with Norah Jones. Well maybe we only said "excuse me" to each other, but those are just details. We ended the year on another high note, with a couple of sold out Hoe Hoe Hoe Holiday Shows with good friends Chic Gamine and a 10 person band.
Thanks you so much for your continued support in 2011, and with a new record I hope to see you all in 2012! Have a healthy and happy year.
PS: GO JETS GO!

GOOD FALL TO YOU ALL!
2011 has been an incredible year for singer songwriter JP Hoe. The first half has been spent recording a record he is incredibly proud of,
coupled with showcases across North America and capped off with the task of writing and recording a tune for Travel Manitoba.
Summer saw JP performing numerous shows with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra for crowds up to 30,000 strong, breaking in new venues on rooftops "The Cube",
as well as a handful of private house concerts. The productive year does not stop there. This fall he will be working with Adventure Canada and their
Heart of the Arctic Adventure Cruise, starting in Greenland and exploring the southern coast of Baffin Island. He then heads to the Quebec's famous
Black Sheep Inn, The Living Room in New York City followed by OCFF in Niagara Falls. We are also very pleased to report to Winnipeggers that the
JP HOE HOE HOE HOLIDAY SHOW will be back for another installment this December. Pre sale tickets will go on sale in the next couple of weeks,
so keep your eye on on this site.
Have a great fall Richards! and Go Jet's Go!
JP VS. THE ARCTIC
Up above you will see an artist's rendering of what JP in the arctic may look like.
JP has teamed up with Adventure Canada to explore secluded corners of the planet and bring a piece of JP's art to Greenland and Canada's northern shores.
The two week trip will be a mixture of concerts as well as exploration among uninhabited islands as well as remote communities.
JP says, "I'm excited and have no idea what to expect. I'm just hoping that the old lady from Titanic isn't on the ship, she's bad luck."
If you would like more information on all of Adventure Canada's adventure cruises click the link. I'm sure JP will let us know all about it.

GO EAST YOUNG MAN
Immediately following the conclusion of JP Grylls' acrtic adventure, he will be making an appearance at the Black Sheep Inn Sunday Sept 25, 4PM. The Black Sheep is one of JP's favourite venues in the world and the poutine is apparently extraordinary!
Hey New Yorkers! JP will be heading back to Manhattan with an invasion of acts from Winnipeg to play another one of JP's favourite venues, The Living Room. Located in the Lower East side, the night will welcome among other artists, Ruth Moody (Wailing Jenny's, Chic Gamine and Del Barber). The show is free at the door and starts at 7, though we are not sure at this time when JP will be on. More details to come.
OCFF
Niagara Falls
Are you an Ontario folk festival lover? You may catch JP playing a few sets Oct 14-15 at the Ontario Conference of Folk Festivals.
Long nights of music and story telling. JP will be showing off samples from the upcoming record and will hopefully continue to play more and more festivals in
central Canada next summer.
House Concerts and Holiday Party's!
As you start to think about the end of the year, we would like to let fans know that along with concerts in public venues, when available,
JP continues to surge in the world of house concerts as well as private functions, ie: the Company Christmas Party.

An incredible experience no doubt there will be many offshoots from that week in May.
JP also recently joined Travel Manitoba in Quebec City for the Rendez Vous Canada (RVC) conference.
Showcasing songs from the upcoming record for the over 1400 international tourism operators and sharing his love of his hometown and prairie province,
RVC was an exciting opportunity for JP to wear his hometown love on his sleeve. Also, he ate like a king.

YOU SAY GOODBYE 010, AND I'LL SAY HELLO 011!
What a wonderful year to look back upon. 2010 saw JP crisscrossing the continent and the planet earth, showcasing in LA, Toronto, and Memphis to name
a few cities and then went ahead and crisscrossed the globe making his first (but not last venture) to beautiful Australia. 010 also saw JP dip his
toes into the television world being sought out to write 11 songs for a Canada Day television program, and placements on MTV shows like the Real World
New Orleans. He capped the year off with
2 more sold out JP HOE HOE HOE HOLIDAY SHOWS and the release of his first HOE HOE HOE HOLIDAY SONGS EP available all year long on itunes!

The gripping performance, finely crafted songs, incredible voice, and dry sense of humour will fill the hall as they do at his perennially sold out
JP Hoe Hoe Hoe Holiday shows. The recording will be added as a companion download for his next release due out late 2010 early 2011.
The upcoming concert will showcase songs new and old, as Hoe will be joined throughout the night with guest appearances from other local artists,
supported all night by his one and only Truly Richards.

JP BREAKING NEWS
JP is hard at work finishing the material for the upcoming record.
He'll be showcasing at a few festivals this summer and is eager to get back into the studio.
Who will take the producer reigns this time around...you would need a sorting hat to find that information.
JP has also added a new blog entry and is adding a couple songs on the download site this week.
Join up for the newsletter and you too can have access to unreleased material. Finally, the playoffs are around the bend, GO SENS GO!
Happy spring everyone
JP HOE RECEIVES 2 WESTERN CANADIAN MUSIC AWARD NOMINATIONS
Last month JP was nominated for 2 Western Canadian Music Awards (WCMA), with the award show on September 20, 2009 in Brandon Manitoba. These are JP's second and third WCMA nominations to date, already receiving the recommendation of Outstanding Pop Recording for his 2006 album The Live Beta Project. This year's nods come in the form Outstanding Pop Recording for The Dear John Letters and Songwriter of the Year. Unfortunately voting is not open to the public, but JP is thrilled to be nominated, and is very thankful for the recognition.
DREAMS COME TRUE FOR JP HOE PROM KING
This past June saw the first annual JP HOE PROM SHOW take place and
like any good prom we crowned a King and Queen. This year's King was
given his crown and helped make our evening a smashing success.
Normally he would go back to his kingdom and the story would end
there. However we received word that our King and the crown have gone
on to bigger and better things. At a recent Green Day concert the
King was asked (wearing his crown) to get on stage and sing a Green
Day song with the band, then...as you can see below he passed the
throne to another. We not saying we're miracle workers, but we're
saying good things happen to those who love the concerts! Way to go
King!

FACEBOOKED YA SUCKA!
Seriously folks, lets add ourselves to the JP Hoe fan page on

House concerts YOU can host!
Clubs are fun, and pubs even more cosy, but the most intimate way to listen to a concert...in your living room. A house concert.
