DECEMBER AND BEYOND
December was an incredible month for JP & company.
Touring through blizzards, Quinzmas, 2 sold out Hoe Hoe Hoe Holiday shows, and finally an absolutely fabulous night as Paul Mc and the rest of the Beatles, to bring in the new year. Jan brings a bit of down time, where JP will finish writing the rest of the next album, as well as a few appearances in Winnipeg.
February brings Rendez Vous ribs and the Festival du Voyageur and more house concert announcements. So stay warm and we'll keep you in the loop!
JP HOE HOE HOE HOLIDAY SHOW
The 4th Annual JP HOE HOE HOE HOLIDAY SHOW returns to the Park theatre in JP's hometown of Winnipeg Manitoba.
The tradition continues with fan favourite guests: Fred Penner, The Truly Richards, the Dancing Dreidels, gifts, and cheer! Quite frankly, without any exaggeration it will be the best night of your life. We've even added a second night so that those of you who weren't able to find tickets last year will be rewarded for being so nice in '09.
This year along with retail shops you can purchase tickets online and print them at home via www.ticketworkshop.com starting the weekend of Nov 6, 2009. So go and be merry, and we'll see you at the Park!
JP HOE RECEIVES 2 WESTERN CANADIAN MUSIC AWARD NOMINATIONS
Last month JP was nominated for 2 Western Canadian Music Awards
(WCMA), with the award show on September 20, 2009 in Brandon
Manitoba. These are JP's second and third WCMA nominations to date,
already receiving the recommendation of Outstanding Pop Recording for
his 2006 album The Live Beta Project. This year's nods come in the
form Outstanding Pop Recording for The Dear John Letters and
Songwriter of the Year. Unfortunately voting is not open to the
public, but JP is thrilled to be nominated, and is very thankful for
the recognition.
DREAMS COME TRUE FOR JP HOE PROM KING
This past June saw the first annual JP HOE PROM SHOW take place and
like any good prom we crowned a King and Queen. This year's King was
given his crown and helped make our evening a smashing success.
Normally he would go back to his kingdom and the story would end
there. However we received word that our King and the crown have gone
on to bigger and better things. At a recent Green Day concert the
King was asked (wearing his crown) to get on stage and sing a Green
Day song with the band, then...as you can see below he passed the
throne to another. We not saying we're miracle workers, but we're
saying good things happen to those who love the concerts! Way to go
King!

CBC CONCERTS ON DEMAND
Hello Richards, for those of you who could not be there,
CBC Radio recorded our CD release party in Winnipeg last September at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
It was a magnificent spectacle with the help of many friends new and old, including The Truly Richards,
members of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Ruth Moody to name but a few.

Seriously folks, lets add ourselves to the JP Hoe fan page on
